Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, Vercel automatically processes technical connection data on our behalf as a processor. Data may be transferred to servers in the USA; the transfer is safeguarded by standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Server log files

When you visit the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This may include the requested URL, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and the time of the request. This data is not merged with other data sources and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the technical operation and security of the website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form

When you contact us via the contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, company where applicable, and your message) is processed to handle your inquiry. Message delivery is carried out through our email service provider Resend (Resend, Inc.), which acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the correspondence is complete and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Cookies

This website currently sets only technically necessary cookies required for its basic operation; these do not require consent (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). Should we introduce cookies that require consent in the future, we will obtain your consent beforehand via a cookie banner. Further details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics

This website does not currently use any analytics or tracking tools. Should we introduce privacy-friendly analytics (for example Plausible Analytics) or another web analytics service (such as Google Analytics) in the future, we will update this policy and — where legally required — obtain your prior consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).

Email communication

If you contact us by email, the information you send (including your email address and message content) is stored to process and respond to your request. This processing is based on our legitimate interest and, where a contractual relationship exists or is being initiated, on Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Data retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here or to comply with statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law). Once these purposes no longer apply and no retention obligations remain, the data is deleted.

Data security

This website uses TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers, recognizable by the "https://" prefix and the padlock in your browser. We employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or manipulation.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
